Sandi Yara is a lifelong Oahu resident, working in Hawaii’s visitor industry for 25+ years. She has planned and executed numerous marketing promotions and special projects for hotels, visitor destinations and non-profit organizations. Her current clients include a hotel company, visitor attraction and non-profit destination group. Sandi is active with organizations and is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers, Honolulu Academy of Arts, Waikiki Improvement Association and Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York). Aside from travel, her interests include art, astronomy, Egyptology and other ancient civilizations, gardening and photography.
